White Nose Syndrome on the Move

Yesterday, officials announced White-nose Syndrome (WNS) has reached Alabama. This devastating wildlife disease was found in the Russell Cave Complex in the northeastern corner of the state after biologists conducting a bat survey found numerous bats with the white fungus that causes WNS on their skin.
