Lunch Time!!!

Hairy Woodpecker’s Returns With Family

These pictures of a family of Hairy Woodpecker where taken this past Saturday Morning as they feed at our back yard feeder filled with sun flower seeds. I hope you enjoy these pictures as I enjoyed watching them. As I could see the family consisted of a adult male and female with a younger female.

Downy Woodpecker Visits Our Bird Feeder

The Downy Woodpecker has now become a regular morning visitor, we now see both the male and female taking their turn at our backyard feeder. We now hope that this pair of Downy Woodpeckers make their home in one of our woodpecker bird houses next year.

A Pair of Cardinal’s Waiting Their Turn For Our Backyard Feeder

This pair of Cardinals have been frequent visiters to our feeder since we put it up 2 years ago. Cardinals are known to form a stable bond between each other. The pair will remain in close contact all year round, keeping their bond by singing to each other.
